WHAT WE DO
1 Creative Placemaking
Placemaking projects strengthen the connection between people and the places they share. By merging art and culture with public spaces, we enhance the quality of life, stimulate economic growth, and foster a strong sense of belonging.
6th Street Arts Alley
The 6th Street Arts Alley is a creative hub where people gather to watch live performances, enjoy local food and drink, and experience art. Music and dance are essential elements of the Arts Alley. By featuring local and regional artists, we celebrate a rich cultural tapestry within our community.
2 Community Arts
Community Arts programming invites the broad community to create, understand, and appreciate art. Through artist-led workshops, exhibitions, and youth and family arts programming, we ignite creativity and enrich lives.
Youth and Family Arts
We engage youth in meaningful art experiences. Through these initiatives, we aim to create a sense of belonging, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Flourishing Through Art
Flourishing Through Art is a series of programs aimed at addressing mental health in our community. Each unique program is designed to inspire creativity and skill development, cultivate community, and stimulate personal growth. The yellow flower indicates programs align with this work.
50/50, A Community Art Project
With 50/50, we aim to break down barriers to art access. This popular annual initiative empowers all local artists, crafters, and creators to showcase their work in gallery exhibitions. Maintaining affordable prices opens doors to a wider audience eager to acquire these unique artworks.
3 Support Local Creatives
Local art helps cultivate a sense of cultural identity. By supporting local creatives, we invest in our community's cultural, social, and economic well-being. We empower local artists to thrive through business training, paid opportunities, and connections to other creatives.
Art of Entrepreneurship
We provide creative entrepreneurs with essential business training and professional best practices. These free workshops help individuals brainstorm, plan, and jumpstart their businesses.
Small Talk/s
Small Talk/s is a speaker series featuring local creatives telling their stories. Through this program, we aim to highlight our local creatives' varied and circuitous paths in their careers.
Studio C
Studio C is a community space located on the Propeller campus where artists and creatives make art, develop their skills, and form working relationships with other creatives.
