Location: Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Avenue
Sun Garden is a series of 32 painted translucent, plexiglass panels suspended from the Columbus Learning Center’s rotunda ceiling. Back lit by a round skylight, each panel represents a form of one of Chihuly’s blown-glass forms. Each panel is signed by Chihuly.
Instead of craning their necks, viewers can more easily view the piece reflected in a mirrored table installed beneath the piece.
Donated by the Richard Johnson Family.
