The Bartholomew County Historical Society is opening Otis’ Emporium, the new museum shop at the Haw Creek Heritage Center at 111 Aiken Street in Hope. Otis’ Emporium, named for one of the original items donated to the society in 1920, will open in April highlighting handmade items made by local artists, and BCHS would like to feature the best of the area. Work from a variety of mediums will be considered; from jewelry,
wood working, metal work, pottery, and much more.
If you would like your work to be considered for juried selection in the shop, please call the Bartholomew County Historical Society at 812-372-3541 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. All items will be sold on consignment. BCHS reserves the right to exclude any artwork that violates the laws of the United States, or of state or local governments.
