Presented by Columbus Area Arts Council. Sponsored by Old National Bank.
For the past 25 years, First Fridays for Families has provided a window to the arts that the whole community can share. Each program is unique and introduces a variety of performing arts experiences to a young audience, many for the first time. Geared toward children, pre-kindergarten through third grade, this free program begins at 6:00 PM on the first Friday of the month, November through April, in The Commons in the heart of the Columbus Arts District.

New to the community in 2007, attending the First Fridays for Families events were the first time I felt a real connection to Columbus and the community. My family could have a free family “outing” that allowed our young daughters to interact with other children and to be introduced to the marvels of live music, plays and various performers. –Miranda Cross
Like most parents, the greatest gifts that I can give to my children are in experiences. Experiences that will shape and influence the way that they see the world. First Fridays for Families provides a window to art experiences that the whole community can share. –Ryan Brand
