Arts for All, previously known as Very Special Arts, has been an ongoing program produced by The Columbus Area Arts Council for over 25 years. This program allows for children living with emotional, developmental, and/or physical challenges to experience a day of art and creation in a safe and nurturing environment. The program has served over 5,000 students and employs 12 to 14 artists each year to lead interactive art, music and movement sessions during the day-long event. The Arts Council works with the Special Education staff of the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) to organize the schedule and invite other area schools. An estimated 240 students from BCSC, Brown County, Decatur County, and Greensburg Schools attend the event annually.
