“A Tuna Christmas” is a wildly funny two-man show set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas. It follows the popular show “A Greater Tuna,” performed by JCCT in 1998, and precedes a third show, “Red, White and Tuna,” and a fourth show “Tuna Does Vegas.” All four were originally performed by Joe Sears and Jaston Williams.
Two actors (Matt Nieman and Greg Simons) team to play a total 22 of the town’s colorful characters–male and female–as they prepare, in their own crazy ways, for the upcoming Christmas home decorating contest and the town Christmas pageant.
The holiday comedy will be held at the Royal Off-the-Square Theatre in Brownstown, December 6, 7, 13, and 14, at 7:30 PM. A Sunday matinee will be held at 2:30 PM on December 8. All seats are reserved, and tickets may be purchased in advance at Family Drug and Bevers Family Pharmacy. Out-of-county patrons may call Family Drug at 358-4502 to reserve tickets.
