2002 Mural Project:
March 2002 Workshop
Artists Dante Ventresca and Rebecca
Hutton conducted a workshop in The Commons that incorporated
short writing exercises, an exploration of visual imagery
from art books, the recollection of memories, and group focusing
exercises. A total of nine Youth Services clients and five
counselors participated in these activities in addition to
numerous passersby and curious observers. Techniques used
this day were incorporated into a set of activities used for
the two summer painting projects.
