Also known as the “Red C”, this piece is typical of Venet’s minimalist works in steel. Precariously balanced, the piece reflects his love of mathematics and his habit of investigating material, form, balance, and spatial perception. Purchased by Mrs. Xenia S. Miller, the piece originally sat within the pool yard at Miller House and Gardens. The piece was gifted to the Columbus Area Arts Council in honor of the organization’s 25th anniversary in 1998 and now sits in front of The Commons.
